Why: We are raising money to help with expenses of Abby's family. Read why below...
Abby Mondy is a senior varsity softball player and fellow disc golfer that plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi next year. She is severely allergic to peanuts and her allergy is so bad - she can't even be in the same room with someone who's eaten or touched them. One day, Abby came in close contact with a classmate who'd eaten trail mix during lunch causing her esophagus to close and restrict her breathing, sending her into anaphylactic shock, that's happened about five times this year.
Abby says she anxious about attending college because it'll be an uncontrolled environment without the help she used to with her coaches and school nurse. Fortunately, one of her former teachers told her family about a peanut detecting dog that can sniff out anything involving peanuts.
The dog would need to be specially-trained which costs around 15-thousand dollars. This particular resource could change Abby's life.

Pre-registration is required for this event. There will be no registration after January 31st! If a teammate cant make it, one can be substituted the day of the event as long as it meets the format requirements (see below).
This event is a Mixed Doubles format event. Each team consists of an experienced disc golfer (XP) and a novice, junior, or recreational player (NOV). Experienced team members will drive from the AM tee pads while the novice teammate will drive from a blue tee position that will be created before the time of the event.
There will be 2 rounds of 18 holes played. Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the 1st round. We will then server lunch and prepare for the second round. The 2nd round will begin at the discretion of the TD. CTP (closest to pin) contests will be in play throughout the 1st round. There will be CTP’s designated for XP players and NOV players.
Once the 2nd round is concluded by all teams, we will have 50/50 raffles, Ace Pot throw-offs if needed and other mini games. Once the scores are added and winners determined, we will have the awards ceremony and present our benefits to Abby and her family.
